We’re back and we’re writing.

The past several months have been busy. Busy with work and with distractions. So, we’ve a lot of catching up to do.

Let’s start with Spirited Scrivener, Phil Bosshardt.

Phil is adapting one of his existing stories to a screenplay.  This is a new venture for him and he has plunged in with his usual discipline and dedication. Learning a new format. Learning how to take the story down to its “visual” forms. Learning how to describe without description. It’s a lot of learning. He has a friend who has some industry contacts so he has motivation and a path forward once the screenplay is finished. 

Phil is also preparing to start a new science fiction series to be known as The Europa Trilogy in September. The first title called Ocean of Night.  Other titles in this series will follow next year.  In the intermediate future, he will be outlining and developing additional stories in his series of Terra Guard novels…there are  2 already published.

What’s on your reading list, Phil? “I’m currently reading (re-reading) some Tom Clancy novels since I like geopolitical thrillers.”

How do you keep the stories coming? “My outlines and background research keep me motivated and focused on any given project.”

And the warmest months of 2024? “This summer, I am enjoying the new challenge of writing a screenplay, which I have never done before.  Also, we are active in our church and I am a regular adult Sunday school teacher, which also keeps me busy.”
